Nepal, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a country in South Asia Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and is also its largest city. Nepal is mainly situated in the Himalayas, but also includes parts of the Indo-Gangetic Plain. It borders China to the North, India to the West, South and East, while Nepal is separated by Bangladesh by a narrow Indian Territory Siliguri Corridor and from Bhutan by the Indian State of Sikkim.
